Today I’m announcing PortfolioPress, a plugin for easily adding a portfolio with items on your WordPress based weblog or website.

PortfolioPress adds the following functions to WordPress:

• Items as custom post type
• Item categories
• Item tags
• Item fields

The first public release of PortfolioPress will be in Q3 2011.

PortfolioPress will be free of charge and licensed under the GPL2 license.
